About
I couldn’t find oils I trusted, so I sourced them myself.
Emblyss started with a shelf of disappointments. Bottles labelled as one thing that turned out to be another. “Pure” oils cut with something cheaper. A lot of marketing where an ingredient list should have been.
So I went looking for the real versions. Blue lotus that actually comes from Egypt. Melissa that is actually melissa, and not something else wearing its name. Benzoin tapped from the styrax tree and bottled as one ingredient, because that is all it needs to be.
What we make
Small-batch essential oils and blends, in 10 mL amber glass. Singles, where one oil is the whole point. Blends, where a few of them do something together that none of them does alone.
Every bottle lists its ingredients in full. Where an oil is scarce or slow to produce, we say so, and we say why it costs what it costs. Melissa takes an extraordinary volume of leaf to fill a bottle this size. Blue lotus is scarce and difficult to get. Those are reasons, not excuses, and you should be able to read them before you buy.
The promise
If you ever stop loving one, I’ll make it right.
